There will be a new  Government Civics series that will be offered in Sammamish at Central Washington University.  Please find the link below (and further below a short description ) of the first class that starts January 31st  and will include speakers who are elected School Board members, Chairs of the Planning Commission, and many more.  Based on each class interests a subsequent class will be determined for the following month on issues such as GMA, Transportation, Urban Forestry Management, etc. Classes can be added if ten or more apply  from a particular city (Duvall, Redmond, Redmond Ridge Trilogy, Kirkland, Woodinville, Issaquah, Sammamish) or with an interest in a specific language or group (e.g. Chinese, Arabic, Indian, Spanish, etc).
The goal is to encourage interests and speakers from across the Eastside.
