Geoffrey Castle, new wine garden at DennyFest Sunday, Aug. 20

O.O. Denny Park will be abuzz with live music, barking dogs, and chattering neighbors as the 9th annual DennyFest returns this Sunday, August 20th. The event takes place from noon to 5 pm at O.O. Denny Park, on the shores of Lake Washington. All members of the local community are invited to attend. As always, admission is free.
Geoffrey Castle and his band lead the musical lineup, joined by the Finn Hillbillies and Infusion. For the kids,
Ruben Barron will perform magic tricks, there will be arts & crafts, a bouncy house, and Wild Child Portraits. A numerologist will be on hand to read your palm and free de-stressing massages are available in case the numerologist didn’t give you the prediction you were hoping for.
Dog owners are welcome to bring their leashed companions to pawticipate in six different categories of competition.
Snacks and a BBQ will be on hand along with a dessert contest to tantalize the taste buds. New this year is a wine garden featuring the Patterson Cellars lineup of reds and whites.
Parking at O.O. Denny Park fills up fast so consider riding to and from the event on the free DennyFest shuttle, which will run all afternoon between the park and Inglewood Presbyterian Church, 7718 NE 141st St, Kirkland, WA 98034.
