Volunteer “Survivors” Needed for Realistic CERT Drill, November 18th

The Kirkland Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program is hosting a drill so that newly trained CERT participants can demonstrate their disaster response skills.  A professional make-up artist will create realistic injuries; volunteers will channel their inner actors to make the disaster feel true-to-life.

The drill is on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Kirkland City Hall.  Volunteers will be assigned arrival times between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM depending on how extensive the make-up needs to be.  The drill ends at 3:00 PM.  Volunteer “survivors” need to stay for the entire drill.  Snacks, beverages, and a pizza lunch are provided.  For more complete information and register for this event, go to www.KirklandCERT.com.
