Rotary’s 13th Year of Miracle League
The Rotary Club of Kirkland started it’s Miracle League season for the 13th year at Perrigo Park in Redmond. It is a baseball league for children 4 years old and up with physical and cognitive limitations who get to bat and play in the field for several innings with a helpful buddy. The players need to be members of a Boys and Girls Club and receive uniforms, equipment, and team pictures at no cost. Scholarships are available for the Boys and Girls Club memberships if needed.
About 18 children played Saturday (April 22) and there is room for more. Games will be on Saturdays at 10:30 AM till June 3rd. For more information please contact Kirkland Boys and Girls Club at 425 250-4756. Also the Seattle Mariner’s Moose made his annual appearance again on Saturday
