The Kirkland Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Kirkland
Performance Center, is excited to announce that the First Annual Kirkland Investor Sharks event will take
place November 4th.
Built on the foundation of the Kirkland Chamber’s Kirkland Startup Weekend, Kirkland Investor Sharks
will provide local startup businesses with an opportunity to pitch to a panel of some of the greatest
Venture Capitalists and Angel Investors in the Pacific Northwest Region, including big names in the
investment community such as Gregg Bennett, Haresh Ved, Gregory Brown, Rick Hennessey, and others;
and moderated by Todd Dean, a local leader in the entrepreneur and investment community. The
investor panel is looking for tech-based ideas that will bring new contributions to the market.

In keeping with the spirit of fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs,, ticket sales benefit a scholarship program, in which free tickets are provided to local area high school and college students to watch the action. Kirkland Investor Sharks is proud to be able to offer this benefit to spark ideas in young minds.
The event will take place at Kirkland Performance Center, with a reception from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The
show itself will begin at 7:00pm and will wrap up at 9:30pm. General Admission tickets are only $35 and
include a lovely reception, and access to the live show. The VIP package contains a private reception,
exclusive opportunities to speak with the investors, and a personal swag bag for $150. Tickets are on
