Musical Holiday Lights on the CKC

 

Join your Kirkland neighbors on December 2nd for an evening of caroling, hot cocoa, a giant snow globe photobooth, and the second annual musical holiday lights on the Cross Kirkland Corridor! The snow-globe will be ready for photos starting at 4:30 p.m., and at 5:30  p.m. Mayor Amy Walen will flip the switch to turn on a show featuring 10,000 LED lights custom-programmed to holiday music by Google Kirkland engineers. Parking is limited, so those who can are encouraged to take public transportation, bike or walk to the show.

When: Friday, December 2, 4:30-6:00 p.m., Photo-booth Snow Globe opens at 4:30,  lights at 5:30

Winterfest Entertainment Schedule, Saturday

This Saturday, Kirkland celebrates Winterfest downtown with the traditional tree lighting, live music and a special appearance by Santa Claus. This year, you will find that the tree lighting festival has been moved to Lee Johnson Field at the corner of Central Way and 3rd St. The tree lighting ceremony takes place at 5:00 pm.

Saturday is also “Small Business Saturday” and includes a speech by Mayor Amy Walen and free parking shuttles to and from City Hall where there will be ample parking…

VIP Backstage A Huge Success for Kirkland Performance Center

The Kirkland Performance Center (KPC) annual auction and gala, VIP Backstage, was quite the hit on Saturday, October 15th at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue.
